This Wednesday _ DRIVEN!
High Flight Society will be playing _ DRIVEN on September 30th. Tickets are $10 and will go on sale September 6th _ Christ is Life Church.

Positioned in the town of Wharton, Texas, DRIVEN Youth Ministry is THE PLACE TO BE on Wednesday nights. Our dedication to reaching this generation for Christ is evident in our fellowship, powerful worship, and relevant messages. Each week, our youth pastor Paul Stieb delivers impactful messages that are unprecedented. He'll have you laughing one minute and really thinking the next, but both will have you on the edge of your seat wondering what's next? The messages deal with real issues and help equip young people for life. DRIVEN has become a place where people from all walks of life gather in unity and where everyone feels accepted. At DRIVEN, you're in. Whether you're shooting some hoops, playing a game of pool, or just enjoying a coffee at the DRIVEN CAFÉ, come be a part of a group that is touching and changing lives in our community and beyond.

In 2007, God placed in our Pastor's heart that we should completely pay off the youth building. As a result, he and his staff began earnestly praying for this during their weekly staff meetings. Although they didnt know how it would come to pass, they knew that the Lord would answer their prayers.
As the church staff was making preparation for an anniversary service honoring our Senior Pastors' 25 years in ministry, the church received a call from a couple who lived out of state. They said they wanted to help pay on our youth building note. Some information was exchanged and they said they would see what they could do.
Just two days before our anniversary service would take place, they wired our bank $211,158.24. God had placed it on their hearts to pay off the entire note! They asked to remain anonymous. They also requested that we keep it a surprise for our Pastors only to be revealed during the anniversary service. Such good news was hard to contain but we did it. It was the largest gift our church had ever received and God kept it a surprise. What a gift! What a good God! He truly is able to do exceedingly, abundantly, above what we can even ask or think! Christ Is Life Church is debt free!!
We are so excited about what God is doing at Christ is Life Church and DRIVEN Youth Ministry. The CILC/DRIVEN INTERN program was birthed to provide assistance to the existing Church staff. This program was not only designed to be a blessing to the church, but to the Intern as well. This is an opportunity for our interns to use their gifts and talents for the Kingdom. Be assured that our interns will be blessed beyond measure as they serve and minister to this generation.

Come join us for some AWESOME WORSHIP and the Word on September 9th! The DRIVEN Youth band will be leading worship and Pastor Paul will be delivering an impactful message that will help you deal with real issues. So be sure to invite some friends and come check it out! Doors open _ 6PM. Also be sure to hang out with us afterwards for some food, fellowship, and fun!
